Ayanda Nhlapo, a young creative from Johannesburg, is a well known stylist who knows how to serve the looks. The 25-year-old fashionista looks good in almost everything she wears, from red carpet moments, smart casuals to African couture, she always slays.
As an influencer who always strives to be natural, Nhlapo sets her own trends, which make her stand out from the rest.
“I have a unique style and personality, which doesn’t allow me to follow what everyone else is doing. I have my own way of thinking and doing things. Being me is simply what makes me stand out. I’m a dreamer, believer and achiever, which is what makes me influential and inspirational. I’m proof that working hard and staying true to who you are is very rewarding”.

Afro chic
This orange off shoulder African dress with matching hat does the most. The fringing neckpiece is the best accessory as it matches well with the black and white prints on the dress.
Lady in red
At the E host search in March last year, Nhlapo looked dazzling in a red velvet dress. Without trying too much, she completed the look with rectangular earrings and a cute clutch bag, styling her afro hair by just combing it to the front and pushing it to the side.
Boyish babe
Looking swaggy in a boyish look, we like this style where she wore boyfriend high waist jeans, white cropped top and a burgundy blazer. There couldn’t be a better pair of shoes than the white sneakers, that huge blonde afro completes the look.
Night glow
Only a few can rock faux leather pants and get away with it, Nhlapo is one of them. Matched with a black boobtube top, the colourful glitter throw in top did the things to the look.
Floral flair
At last year’s SAFW, Nhlapo rocked a floral kimono with a rondawel shaped hat. We sure understand why she’s one of the best fashion influencers, always playing around with her clothes and bringing out the best creativity.
