A Napoleonville resident is accused of pulling a knife on another man and pointing a gun at a woman.

Ernest Adams Jr., 18, 3178 La. 308, was charged Wednesday with aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon and home invasion. He remains in the Assumption Parish jail on a $70,000 bond.

The incidents occurred Jan. 15 near Belle Rose, Assumption sheriff's Capt. Lonny Cavalier said.

Cavalier said Adams went to one home looking for the woman, got into an argument with a man there and pulled out a knife. He then found the woman at another home and allegedly pointed a rifle at her.
