The Agriculture Minister Subodh Uniyal has said that the recent spell of rainfall in the State has removed the apprehension of drought in the State and has brought cheers on the faces of the farmers. Talking to the media persons at State party office, Uniyal said that the rains on December 23 have ensured enough moisture in the soil for the crops to sustain.

When asked to respond to the State Government’s decision on review of the works of the Ministers, Uniyal termed the decision as good one and said that the Ministers also should be held accountable.

The Minister was in the BJP office to hear public grievances during the Janata Milan programme. Incidentally it was the first Janata Milan programme after January 6.

On that day it was Uniyal who was taking up the Janata Milan programme when transporter Prakash Pandey consumed poison blaming the BJP Government, GST and demonetization for his problems.
