Brainerd police

DISTURBANCES—Report at 12:43 p.m. Monday of people fighting over a cellphone in the parking lot at the Lincoln Education Center, 604 S. Sixth St.

Report at 2:05 p.m. Jan. 18 of a male student causing a disturbance at Brainerd High School, 702 S. Fifth St.

ARRESTS—A 40-year-old woman was arrested at 1:28 a.m. Wednesday for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated and open bottle during a traffic stop on the 3300 block of Oak Street.

A 36-year-old man was arrested at 9:07 p.m. Tuesday on a warrant, fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance and more during a traffic stop on the 400 block of Northeast Washington Street.

A 39-year-old man was arrested at 2:57 a.m. Monday for felony domestic assault by strangulation, domestic assault and disorderly conduct on the 600 block of 15th Street Southeast.

A 38-year-old man was arrested at 4:29 p.m. Jan. 18 for fifth-degree drug possession, drug paraphernalia and driving after revocation during a traffic stop on HIghway 210 and 10th Avenue Northeast.

SUSPICIOUS—Report at 2:26 p.m. Tuesday of a suspicious vehicle parked in a snow dump lot on the 1200 block of Evergreen Avenue. A person was eating lunch.

Report at 1:35 a.m. Jan. 19 of a vehicle parking at BHS after hours. Person was sledding down the hill and agreed to leave.

THEFT —Report Tuesday of a theft of a flag from behind a business on the 100 block of Northeast Washington Street. Caller stated the flag was returned.

Baxter police

ARRESTS—A 38-year-old woman was arrested at 7:43 p.m. Tuesday for driving while intoxicated during a traffic stop on College Drive and Cypress Drive.

A 32-year-old woman was arrested at 1:38 p.m. Tuesday on two warrants following a shoplifting complaint at Super One Foods, 7895 Excelsior Road.

DISTURBANCE—Report at 7:03 p.m. Tuesday of people knocking on the caller's door on the 13000 block of Berrywood Drive and she did not want them at her residence. People left before officers arrived.

Crosby police

ARREST—A 58-year-old woman was arrested Jan. 15 for DWI after driving in the ditch off Crow Wing County Road 12.

SUSPICIOUS—Report Sunday of a suspicious occupied vehicle traveling in the area of Eighth Street Northeast. Officer stopped the vehicle at highways 210 and 6 and identified three juveniles, who were advised of curfew violations and were sent home.

Report Jan. 19 of a suspicious occupied vehicle on the Yawkey Mine Lake Road. Officer spoke with two people who explained they were lighting a candle balloon.

Report Jan. 15 of a suspicious male going door to door on the 600 block of Second Avenue Northeast. Male was driving a dark-colored truck and was selling vacuum cleaners. Officers were unable to locate him.

DISTURBANCES—Report Saturday of three cars in the Crosby City Park honking their horns and driving recklessly. Officers advised them of city ordinance.

Report Jan. 19 of a domestic disturbance on the 400 block of First Avenue Northeast. Officers separated both individuals and advised them.

Report Jan. 18 of a disturbance on the 700 block of Poplar Street involving juveniles possibly sending inappropriate text or social media messages. Parents were notified.

Report Jan. 17 of a disturbance at a business in Deerwood involving a female who was upset and yelling. Officer made contact and gave her a courtesy ride.

Crow Wing sheriff

ARREST—A 34-year-old woman was arrested at 2:05 p.m. Tuesday for third-degree possession of a controlled substance on the 1000 block of Ninth Avenue Northeast.
