Meet Ariel, a mixed-breed puppy with a soft chocolate brown coat and pretty light green eyes.

She is a spunky little one who is anxious to find a loving family of her own. Ariel and her litter mates were rescued, and they are now all looking forward to living wonderful, happy lives. She is just one of the many puppies up for adoption at The East Greenwich Animal Protection League.

If you've been thinking about adopting a puppy, you can visit the shelter at 44 Worthington Rd., Cranston. Currently, it's only open Saturdays from noon to 2 p.m. but new hours of operation will be announced soon. For more information, visit the shelter's website at www.egapl.com or its Facebook page. You can also call (401) 467-3670 or email egaplevents@gmail.com or onlygirlx33@aol.com.

While there's a chance that Ariel may be adopted soon, there are many more puppies available, so contact the shelter.
