Roger Federer can capitalise on this major Hyeon Chung flaw - Wilander
HYEON CHUNG’S serve is a major flaw and he will be sussed out by Roger Federer.
Those are the thoughts of Eurosport pundit Mats Wilander.
Chung, who is ranked 58th in the world, goes into the Australian Open semi-final clash as a massive underdog.
Despite knocking out Novak Djokovic, the South Korean is facing Federer, who is chasing his 20th Grand Slam title and a sixth Australian Open crown.
And former world No1 Wilander thinks Chung’s serve will make it easy pickings for Federer, who is likely to be aggressive from the first point.
“Chung only has a very small chance,” Wilander said.

It’s just not the right player for him to play against. Federer has so many different weapons and ways he can play
“He doesn’t serve well enough. There will be so much pressure on his serve and Federer will have the freedom to try a few different things on the Chung serve.
“He won’t get enough free points. Once the ball is in play he has a chance but I think he is a bit too simple as a player at the moment against someone as experienced as Federer.

“But it will be interesting to see what he comes up with.”
Chung and Federer aren’t likely to come out into the Rod Laver Arena until 8.30am GMT.
The winner will face former US Open champion Marin Cilic in the final.
