Sangrur Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Mandeep Singh, and Sub-Inspector of Special Task Force (STF) wing Ram Singh have been selected for the President’s Police Medal for distinguished services on the occasion of Republic Day-2018.
Besides, 14 more police officers or officials including Khanna SSP Navjot Singh Mahal and AIG Traffic Harbaj Singh will also get police medals for meritorious services.
Punjab police’s spokesperson on Thursday said that SP headquarters Sangrur Surinderpal Singh, DSP third Commando Battalion Mohali Tulsi Das, DSP headquarters Jalandhar Rural Balwinder Iqbal Singh, Inspector Intelligence Wing Mohali Sukhdev Singh, Sub-Inspector office of ADGP Mulakh Singh, Special Operations Group (SOG) and Commando Patiala Mulakh Singh, Sub-Inspector Security Wing Sarabjit Singh, Sub-Inspector DIG (Administration) PAP Jalandhar Sukhdev Singh, Sub-Inspector Intelligence Wing Mohali Ravinderjit Singh, ASI RTC PAP Jalandhar Kewal Singh, ASI Intelligence Wing Mohali Sukhjit Singh, ASI 80th Battalion PAP Jalandhar Narinderjit Singh and Head Constable in the office of Sangrur SSP Jaswant Singh would be awarded with Police Medals for meritorious services.
