PECATONICA — Members of UAW Local 1268 have been joining the striking Bay Valley Foods employees picketing outside the company, 215 W. Third St.

Employees at the Fiat Chrysler plant in Belvidere also have taken supplies like paper plates, napkins, Kleenex and toilet paper to the striking workers.

“It’s been great to have that support,” said Wade Musso, who has been representing Bay Valley Foods at the bargaining table.

Bay Valley Foods’ Teamsters Local 754 have been differing with corporate officials over matters including health care costs, pension funding and job projection.

The next bargaining session is set for Feb. 2.
