Telenor Sweden offers internet and smart home connectivity services with start-up Raybased

Telenor Sweden said it is cooperating with Swedish start-up company Raybased to provide a comprehensive service smart property service. They will jointly offer services dealing with connecting tenants to the internet connections and IoT equipment to monitor electricity and water consumption.

The two companies are targeting multi-residence buildings, landlords and tenants alike. They will start by offering services to property owners who get their broadband and services supplied by Telenor.

Raybased CEO Lennart Olving said that interest in smart property functionality is great and that working with Telenor will enable it to provide a more comprehensive service, because of the operator’s expertise and infrastructure. Telenor said it currently has 2.3 million customers able to use various forms of digital property services.
