Irish rockers U2 put tickets on sale for their 2018 UK tour this week - and they visit Manchester Arena on October 19.

Tickets for the huge Live Nation Songs of Experience and Innocence tour go on sale via Ticketmaster and the U2 official website from 9am on Friday January 26.

The new tour, following the release of the chart-topping Songs of Experience, a companion piece to 2014’s Songs of Innocence, is a sequel to the 2015 tour.

Staged in the round, the tour is a development of the unique and innovative staging of 2015, featuring multiple performance areas, a state-of-the-art sound system, plus an all new super high-res LED screen nine-times the resolution of the 2015 screen.

Manchester Arena seating plan

Due to the variety of shows, concerts and sports events that take place at the arena, the seating plan can change frequently.

Some gigs have seating on the floor, while others offer standing room for fans.

For standard shows the arena bowl has fixed tiered seating starting at block 102 and goes round in an anticlockwise direction to block 115.

Seats are numbered from 1 upwards meaning for blocks 102 - 105 & 202 - 205 seat 1 is nearest to the stage but furthest from the stage for blocks 112 - 115 & 212 & 215. The floor blocks are normally numbered 1 -18 left to right when facing the stage.
