Man shot in leg in Wilmington | 0:13
A man described by police as not cooperating with investigators took himself to Wilmington Hospital with a gunshot wound to his thigh early Wednesday afternoon. Police believe the shooting took place on the 2300 block of N. Market Street.

A 45-year-old man was arrested Wednesday after officers pulled him over for a traffic violation near New Castle and found evidence of drugs, according to police.
Officers stopped Hiram Ilarraza-Huerta at Louise Road and Mark Drive, Master Cpl. Heather Carter said. They found traces of crack cocaine in his car, she said.
New Castle County police then searched Ilarraza-Huerta's residence in the 200 block of Christiana Road in Chelsea Estates, near New Castle, and seized 7.9 grams of raw heroin as well as $12,075 in suspected drug money, Carter said.
Ilarraza-Huerta was charged with two counts of felony possession with intent to deliver heroin, a misdemeanor possession of crack cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving without a license and failure to signal.
