A minimum of three years television broadcast news experience is preferred. Top candidates will have significant experience researching, shooting, writing, and editing their own content for on-air, digital, and social media platforms. Knowledge of central California news and sports a plus. Ability to cover in-depth news as well as sports also a plus. KFSN-TV /ABC30, the ABC owned station in Fresno, CA, has an immediate opening for a Web Producer. The market's #1 TV News website is seeking a full-time web producer with strong writing/editing and social media skills. Duties include writing original stories, rewriting and editing television news scripts, proofreading, cutting video stories, posting local and national news and video on the ABC30.com website, creating original video and creatively promoting newscast and web stories on social media. Qualified candidates should have good news judgment, strong writing and editing skills, and the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Basic knowledge of Photoshop, HTML, digital video and live video production software a plus. Knowledge of central California also a plus.
