Your letters: Buying Quebec hydro makes more sense than rebuilding nuclear plants

Does it make sense to pay seven times more to rebuild aging nuclear reactors than to enhance energy efficiency?

Why are we rebuilding nuclear reactors that have to run 24/7 when demand is falling and supply patterns are being rapidly changed by the introduction of low-cost renewable sources?

Isn’t cheap hydro power from Quebec a much more sensible alternative?

If Premier Kathleen Wynne loves the people of Ontario, these are questions she needs to answer, intelligently and honestly, before the next election.

Otherwise we’ll have Conservatives running our government further into deficit (even further than the Liberals).
