Sheriff Sam Craft of the Vernon Parish Sheriff's Office announces recent arrests within the parish.
January 21, 2018
1.Tracy Keith Crocker, age 46, of Anacoco, was arrested and charged with one count of Terrorizing. Bond was set at $ 25,000. Crocker remains in the VPSO jail.
January 22, 2018
2. Antonio Raymond Charles, age 28, of Leesville, was arrested and charged with one count of Aggravated Flight from an officer, one count of Reckless Operation of a Vehicle, one count of Criminal Damage to Property, one count of Driving on Roadway Laned for Traffic, one count of Traffic - Control Signals, one count of Headlamps on Motor Vehicles, Motorcycles, and Motor Driven Cycles, and one outstanding Bench Warrant for Probation Violation. A detainer for the Louisiana Department of Probation and Parole has been placed on Charles. Bond on the traffic charges has been set at $ 10350. Charles remains in the VPSO jail.
3. Brian Eric Vanhoy, age 39, of Alexandria, was arrested and charged with one count of Possession of Marijuana, one count of Criminal Mischief, and one count of Simple Battery. Bond was set at $ 4123. Vanhoy remains in the VPSO jail.
4. Rusty Wayne Whittington, age 26, of Rosepine, was arrested on a Bench Warrant for Probation Violation. No bond has been set and Whittington remains in the VPSO jail.
5. Michael Aaron Wilson, age 24, of Leesville, was arrested and charged with one count of Simple Battery. Bond has not been set and Wilson remains in the VPSO jail.
January 23, 2018
6.Harold Ronald West, Jr., age 33, of DeRidder, was arrested on two outstanding Bench Warrants. One bench warrant for Failure to Appear and one Bench Warrant from Beauregard Parish. West was also charged with one count of Issuing Worthless Checks. Bond was set at $13555. West remains in the VPSO jail with a detainer for Beauregard Parish.
7.Barbara Davis, age 52, of Hornbeck, was arrested on an outstanding Bench Warrant for Failure to Pay Probation Fines and Fees. Davis must pay $ 810.50 or serve 12 months in the parish jail.
8.Michael Slater, age 55, of Leesville, was arrested on two outstanding Bench Warrants for Failure to Appear. Bond was set at $3000. Slater remains in the VPSO jail.
9.Devan C. Mazyck, age 31, of Leesville, was arrested and charged with one count of Simple Assault, one count of Entry on or Remaining on Land or in Place where Forbidden, and one count of Resisting and Officer. Bond was set at $3443. Mazyck remains in the VPSO jail.
