A deep freeze but warmth is on the way for Albany area
The Capital Region was back in the deep freeze Thursday morning as the mercury hovered around 13 degrees before dawn.
The temperature is expected to rise into the mid 20s during the day.
It will be warmer on Friday when the temperature is expected to cross above the freezing point.
It's all a build up to a dramatic increase in the temperature on Saturday and Sunday. Both days are expected to feature temperatures in the mid 40s. It could rain on Saturday too.
