Universal Pictures India is all set to release the Oscar-nominated film on February 2.

Women come and go through Woodcock's life, providing the confirmed bachelor with inspiration and companionship, until he comes across a young, strong-willed woman, (Vicky Krieps), who soon becomes a fixture in his life as his muse and lover.

Once controlled and planned, he finds his carefully tailored life disrupted by love.

The film has received six nominations including Best Picture, Best (Daniel Day-Lewis), Best (Paul Thomas Anderson), Best Supporting Actress (Lesley Manville), Best Original Score (Jonny Greenwood) and Best Costume Design (Mark Bridges).

'Thread' is Paul Thomas Anderson's eighth movie, and his second collaboration with Day-Lewis.
