It was the same old story for India as South Africa continued their dominance at Wanderers, Johannesburg on the first day of the third Test. India finally won the toss and bravely decided to bat first and again got bowled out cheaply for 187. Men in blue again got defeated by seam and swing and apart from captain Virat Kohli and Cheteshwar Pujara none of the other batsmen withstood the challenge and SA again had the upper hand.
South Africa, on the other hand, were 6/1 on stumps and would like to bat only one time and post a huge score on the board. India will have to dismiss SA cheaply to stay in the game and the onus will be on the all-pace attack and how India fights back will tell about this team’s character in face of adversity.
