SHE'S sung everywhere from the Thomas Tripp to Buckingham Palace.
Now a former member of Southampton's Junior Operatic Society will be on your TV screens as part of a new prime time show.
Chloe Akam grew up in Lymington before heading off to study classical music in London.
After singing for Prince Charles and as backing vocalist for Heather Small, the talented singer and actress - and former Brockenhurst College pupil - has been chosen as one of the judges on a new show aimed at celebrating singing together.
Called All Together Now the show will see contestants perform in front of a panel of no fewer than 100 music industry professionals - headed up by former Spice Girl Geri Horner (nee Halliwell).
But the aim of the game is not just to impress, it's to get judges singing along with the contestants. The greater the number that join in, the higher the act’s score.
Chloe, 33, said: "Some people were judging them on technical skills, but if I heard a song that I liked and I felt it was really sincere, whether the vocals were good or not then I stood up.
"It's not just about judging singing, it's about standing up and joining in."
And she said it's also a celebration of individuality, with all judges music professionals, including a medieval banquet singer, a singing dentist, and a choir director by the name of Mr Fabulous.
But the show was also a chance for Chloe to meet her long-time idol, Geri Horner. Chloe said: "She went past me in the corridor one day and when she saw my outfit she just said wow! She was lovely, everyone was lovely and Rob Beckett is just very funny. And they were all very respectful of us."
Even though she was a judge and not a contestant, Chloe had to audition for her part on the show, which was filmed over three weeks at Salford's Media City. She said: "It was nice having to audition because it meant they were taking us seriously. But I don't know how they kept us under control while we were filming - a few of us knew each other from other jobs and we've kept in touch since. It was a whirlwind - but a good one."
Providing comedy in the show is Rob Beckett, who said: "If like me you’re the sort of person who likes to belt out a tune in the shower then I’m pretty sure this is the show for you... but if you’re the sort of person who likes to belt out a tune in the shower while another hundred people join in... then firstly, how big is your bathroom? And secondly this is definitely the show for you!”
Geri Horner added: “I’m so excited to be part of this show. It’s about celebrating talent, uniting people from all walks of life, feeling good AND singing! It’s a whole lot of joy standing up together on a Saturday night.”
The show airs this Saturday with the first of six episodes.
