Multi-lingual actor Prakash Rai has called all Kannadigas to unite and fight for Mahadayi water because the river water is their fundamental right.

"We must unite cutting across party lines," he said in support of the ongoing Mahadayi protests by various pro-Kannada and farmer organisations, across the state on Thursday.

Rai said that Mahadayi water was not an issue that cannot be resolved. He has invited politicos saying "Let us get together on the same forum and fight".
