Real Madrid news: Sky Sports pundits discuss Zinedine Zidane sack threat
SKY SPORTS pundits Andy Townsend and Adrian Bevington have discussed the possibility of Real Madrid sacking manager Zinedine Zidane.

The Frenchman has come under increasing pressure following Real Madrid’s loss to Leganes in the Copa del Rey last night.
The La Liga champions are fourth in the table, 19 points behind Barcelona, so realistically only have the Champions League left to challenge for.
However, they face Paris Saint-Germain in the last 16 and it looks incredibly likely Los Blancos will now register a trophyless season.
And Townsend thinks that could spell the end of Zidane’s tenure at the Bernabeu.

He won’t be a million miles away from the sack.
“As the boss of Real Madrid you can get the sack for excellence,” Townsend told Sky Sports’ The Debate.
“You can get the sacked when you’re winning - we have seen that previously.
“So if you’re having a poor season by their standards, and they are, they’re miles off the pace.
“It is not the end of the world losing in the Copa del Rey, I’m not too sure how serious Zidane has taken it with the team he selected, however, he won’t be a million miles away from the sack.”
Meanwhile, former FA executive Adrian Bevington added: “He will go at the end of the season as far as I’m concerned.
“If he wins the Champions League again he could stay but he has got PSG in the next round.
“They are going to have to go some to win that game and if he doesn’t win that game you could see him go.”
