A former Duquesne University basketball player denies raping a girl in his dorm room.

Nick Washington was ordered on Wednesday to stand trial.

Nick Washington's lawyer claims his client was intimate with the University of Pittsburgh at a fraternity party before they returned to his dorm on Sept. 1. Casey White says they had consensual relations.

White's accuser tearfully testified they had been drinking and they went back to his dorm to use his charger since her cellphone died.

The prosecution says what happened before Washington and the girl went back to the dorm room has no bearing on what happened after.
