The traumatic ordeal hasn’t lead him down a path of redemption as he continues with his bad behaviour.
Last night’s episode saw the troubled teen realise that Gerry Roberts (Shaun Thomas) could have an incriminating voicemail on his mobile as Lachlan accidentally called his friend moments before the crash.

“I might have recorded mum and grandad. Your phone might have their last words on it.”

However, the phone was in repair after having it’s screen smashed and Gerry managed to grab it first.
Gerry told Lachlan he would wait for the phone to charge and then deliver it to him without listening to the message, upon Lachlan’s request.
This evening’s edition of the ITV programme sees Lachlan getting hot under the collar as the pressure to delete the evidence mounts.
Pretending he is consumed by grief, Lachlan leaves the church in search of the phone.
