Sri Lanka takes on Bangladesh in a crucial tri-nation game
The final league match of the tri-nation ODI series involving Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Zimbabwe will be played today (Jan. 25) at Mirpur.

It will be played between tournament favourites Bangladesh and Sri Lanka who have been weakened without seniors Angelo Mathews and Kusal Janith.

Basically, it is a must-win game for Sri Lanka to cement a place in the final with Bangladesh.

Sri Lanka have no choice, however, but to make the best of a less-than-ideal situation.

With a weakened side, they must now either defeat a rampant Bangladesh or lose very, very narrowly (provided the match is high-scoring enough) in order to make the final.

Reports from Bangladesh say that Sri Lanka might bring in Dhanushka Gunatillake to open in the absence of Kusal Janith.
