JACKSON, Miss. (AP) - Police in Mississippi say they are investigating a fatal double shooting at a motel.
The Clarion-Ledger reports the shooting happened at the Crown Motel on Wednesday. Police say a man and woman were found shot to death inside a room.
Jackson police spokesman Sgt. Roderick Holmes says motel employees attempted to make contact with them by phone and were not able to, and that's when they went to the room. The door was barricaded and had to be forced open.
The identities of the victims have not been released, pending notification of family.
