Heavy snowfall in tourist hub Shimla severely affected vehicular movement. A tourist hoped local authorities would swing into action as soon as possible and clear the snow. Around 200 routes in the state have been affected by snow. The temperature in the hilly region has also plummeted several notches below the freezing point.
