But Ozil has remain professional and is continuously putting in impressive performances for Arsenal, despite outside interest from clubs across Europe.

The playmaker completed the full 90 minutes as the Gunners beat Chelsea 2-1 to reach the Carabao Cup final last night.

And he will now put pen to paper on a lucrative extension within the coming weeks.

According to Football.London, Arsenal are confident they can tie Ozil down for a longer period.

It is also suggested that a deal could be done soon.

Alexis Sanchez’s swap-deal to Manchester United has apparently unsettled the fanbase and the club are hoping Ozil’s extension will get them back on side.
