Just before midnight on Tuesday, Melbourne police responded to the Circle K at 4001 N. Wickham Rd. in reference to calls about a man on the premises armed with a large blade.
Zolnoski reportedly entered the store, clad only in a pair of black shorts, and asked for "Seth." Witnesses told police the blade of a large knife was visible from his shorts. Based on Zolnoski's demeanor, a witness feared he intended to use the knife and called 9-1-1, according to reports.
An officer located the suspect walking along the north side of the property at 2900 Post Rd. When he saw police were following him, Zolnoski fled into the parking lot of Long Doggers and then into Post Rd. before being apprehended, reports say.

Police say the suspect crouched behind an embankment mid-flight and apparently discarded an object. There, officers found a 10-inch, fixed blade knife matching the description given by witnesses.
During his arrest, officers discovered Zolnoski had previously been trespassed from 2900 Post Rd. in October.
