A man was killed and another injured when a covered van collided with a car on Aktaruzzaman flyover in Chittagong city on Thursday morning.
Khulshi Police Station SI Delwar Hossain said a covered van collided head-on with a Lalkhan Bazar-bound private car at GEC intersection this morning, leaving two car passengers injured.
They were taken to Chittagong Medical College Hospital where the on-duty doctors declared one dead.
SI Delwar said "We seized the covered van but its driver managed to flee the scene. We also recovered a mobile phone from the car and are trying to identify the deceased."
