In the Senior National Equestrian Championship, Madhya Pradesh State Equestrian Academy exhibited a wonderful performance. The players bagged three medals including a gold medal, a silver medal and bronze medal. The Senior National Equestrian Championship was held in Jaipur.
Under the championship National Eventing No Bice Cross Country 2.5 km, player Faraz Khan won a gold medal. He performed on his horse named Chandani. It is to be noted that Faraz is a brilliant player of Equestrian Academy and also coaches new players as well.
Again Faraz Khan and Anand Devan won a bronze medal in Individual event in 2.1 km race. Similarly, in the team event, Faraz Khan, Prannoy Khare and Anand won the Silver Medal. This is the first time that the players of the academy have achieved all the three medals while performing the senior national equestrian championship.
Here on Wednesday, the medal winners met the Minister of Sports and Youth Welfare Yashodhara Raje Scindia at TT Nagar Stadium. The players shared about their experiences at the senior national championship and also shared their happiness for winning the medals by exhibiting a brilliant performance.
The Sports Minister complimented the medal winners while appreciating the spectacular performance of the players in the championship. She also motivated them and encouraged them to give similar performance in future matches as well. On this occasion, Capt. Bhagirath, the Chief Instructor of the Madhya Pradesh Equestrian Academy, Director of Sports and Youth Welfare Upendra Jain were also present.
