AJMAN: The Ajman Center for Corporate Social Responsibility (AJCCSR), a subsidiary of Ajman Chamber will hold the “Ajman CSR Summit-2018” on Tuesday (Jan.30). The summit will see a large participation of senior government officials headed by Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy and Hessa Bint Essa Buhumiad, Minister of Community Development.
The summit will further feature participation of the major companies operating in the UAE, along with an elite of CSR experts from the private sector and the public interest.
This was announced during a press conference held by Ajman Chamber at Fairmont Hotel in the presence of Naser Al Dhafri, CEO of AJCCSR, Members of the Organising Committee, sponsors’ representatives: Francis Desjardins-Fairmont Hotel Ajman, Noor Al Shaghouri, CSR Official-Ajman University, and media.
The first edition of Ajman CSR Summit that will be held at Emirates Hospitality Center, targets all government and privates sectors, as well as the public interest and individuals of the society, Al Dhafri said. It will highlight the key mechanisms to adopt and apply the CSR concepts as a major pivot for development of establishments, he added.
The summit translates directives of the prudent leadership aimed at carrying out local and international initiatives to reiterate the CSR role in developing all sectors, Al Dhafri said.
He continued “over 500 senior businessmen, executive directors, entrepreneurs, will meet under one roof to discuss the latest developments.”
