Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) on Wednesday awarded cash prizes to 12 drivers for accident-free driving and six bus depots, which registered the lowest accident rates. The cash prizes ranged between ₹4,000 and ₹12,000, and were awarded to drivers from across TSRTC zones. Mohammed Ameenuddin, A. Krishna and B. Keshaiah were judged the ‘State Best Drivers’. Addressing the gathering, Transport Minister P. Mahender Reddy said that the State has taken steps to reduce the accident rate.
