Chelsea news: Antonio Conte successor is no closer to being sorted - ESPN pundit
CHELSEA don’t seem to have a clue as to who they might replace Antonio Conte with.

That is according to ESPN pundit Craig Burley.
Conte’s long-term future at Chelsea has been the subject of much speculation.
After seeing his side’s title defence collapse, the Italian tactician has cut a miserable figure at Stamford Bridge this term.
Off the pitch, the 48-year-old was very vocal in criticising the club’s transfer activity last summer.
Although they signed the likes of Alvaro Morata and Tiemoue Bakayoko, the Blues saw Nemanja Matic join Manchester United and last season's top scorer Diego Costa also leave.
I think it is dragging the whole ship down there
A couple of names have been bandied about in case Conte leaves, with former Barcelona boss Luis Enrique supposedly considered a potential candidate.
And former Chelsea midfielder Burley doesn’t think his old club know who to replace Conte with once he leaves and thinks he’s “dragging everyone down”.
When asked about whether the west London outfit’s season could unravel as they face Arsenal and Barcelona in the Carabao Cup and Champions League respectively, Burley was quick to point the finger at Conte.
“I think it adds to the fact that Conte won’t be there anyway,” Burley said on ESPN.

“I think it is dragging the whole ship down there.
“I don’t think there is any long-term strategy in terms of the management.
“They had a big win at the weekend, but it was Brighton in all respect.
“Chelsea are better than Arsenal at the moment and if they play well, they should win this game, but we don’t know if we’re going to get that from Conte’s side this season.”
