Alexis Sanchez has taken up residence in the traditional Manchester United team hotel – the Lowry – and now his famous dogs have joined him.

Atom and Humber earned cult status among Arsenal fans and were frequently talked about on social media.

The pair arrived in Manchester on Tuesday night although things didn't go according to plan, with one of the pooches making a quick dash from the car while the other roamed loose.

Sanchez's extended family rounded up the excitable pets before taking them into the five-star hotel to be reunited with their owner.
