A host of familiar faces will perform at the Memorial Day weekend festival, May 26-28 at Hart Plaza
Wu-Tang Clan, Diplo, Claude VonStroke, Too Short and BADBADNOTGOOD are among the acts performing at this year’s Movement festival, May 26-28, at Detroit’s Hart Plaza, producers announced Wednesday.
Wu-Tang Clan will close the festival on May 28, performing the group’s classic 1993 debut album “Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)” in its entirety. Claude VonStroke will finish out the fest’s first day on May 26, while Loco Dice and the Martinez Brothers will close out the fest’s second day on May 27.
Tickets for the festival are now on sale via the fest’s website, Movement.us. Three-day general admission tickets are $175, VIP passes are $320 and exclusive Club313 passes are $470.
As usual, Detroit acts place prominently in the lineup, with Carl Craig, Kevin Saunderson, Stacey Pullen, DJ Godfather, Eddie Fowlkes, Kenny Larkin and Seth Troxler among the familiar faces performing on the festival’s five stages.
Paxahau Events, which has been producing the festival since 2006, this year celebrates its 20th anniversary as a company.
In all, nearly 90 acts were a part of Wednesday’s lineup announcement.
