Arsenal set to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang after big Olivier Giroud transfer decision
ARSENAL striker Olivier Giroud and transfer target Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang both want to trade places with each other, according to reports.
Arsenal are determined to lure Aubameyang to the Emirates and away from the clutches of Borussia Dortmund.
The Gabon international has been earmarked as a priority signing in the wake of Alexis Sanchez’s move to Manchester United on Monday.
Reports have claimed that Giroud is central to any deal with Dortmund keen to sign the France international as a replacement.
And the Daily Mail say Arsenal’s hopes of landing Aubameyang have been significantly boosted with all parties, including Giroud, keen to agree to transfer terms.
Dortmund want the 28-year-old off their books because of his disciplinary issues.

Thomas Tuchel, Peter Bosz and Peter Stoger have all had issues with the striker in the past 12 months.
The Daily Mail add Aubameyang, Arsenal and Giroud are also keen to push through a deal.
Aubameyang is ready to pursue a new challenge and is known to be aggrieved at Dortmund’s treatment of him.
And Giroud is keen to join Dortmund to boost his chances of making France’s World Cup squad later this year.
Didier Deschamps has plenty of options up top with Kylian Mbappe, Alexandre Lacazette, Antoine Griezmann and Anthony Martial fighting it out to make the squad.

Meanwhile, speaking yesterday, Arsene Wenger confirmed Aubameyang was on Arsenal’s radar.
"Confident or not confident, I don't know,” he said.
"You never know how close you are.
"This is the kind of thing - he is one of the possible movements, but we have other things in mind as well. We have plenty of opportunities and the final decision is not made.
"At the moment we are not close to any deal, Aubameyang or anybody else."
