Marilyn Seymore, 83, of Bridgeport, and formerly of Concord, Ark., died Jan. 19, 2018, in Decatur.
Funeral Service is 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, in the Chapel of Jones Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport with the Rev. Dale Webster officiating. Burial will be Friday at the Concord Cemetery in Concord, Ark.
Marilyn was born Dec. 23, 1934, in Almond, Ark. to Leo and Alpha (Tatum) Kerlin. She married Hermon Seymore Dec. 31, 1955. They were married for 38 years until his death. She was a military wife, school teacher and business owner. Marilyn enjoyed crossword puzzles, bowling and going north. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Concord.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter Sandy Seymore; sister Betty Blevin; and grandson JJ Robertson.
She is survived by her sons, David Seymore, Michael Seymore and wife, Debra and Steven Seymore; daughter Danita Noyes and husband, Chuck; sister Billie Harmon; grandchildren Brian Loper and wife, Misty, of Alvord, Brian Robertson and wife, Stephanie, of Forney and Jessie Seymore of Batesville, Ark.; great-granddaughters Bristol Loper and Olivia Robertson.
