Jawan succumbs to injuries at military hospital in J&K’s Rajouri

JAMMU: An Indian Army jawan, who was injured during cross border firing by Pakistan last week, succumbed at the military hospital in Rajouri district on Wednesday.

"Naik Jagadish Prasad (34) sustained grievous injuries when Pakistan violated ceasefire in Krishna Ghati sector on January 20. Prasad, who was from Gandashu village in Uttarakhand's Chamoli district, is survived by his wife and two children," said a defence spokesperson.
