If you are 40 or older, chances are the answer is a resounding yes. And even those too young to remember the legendary Blizzard of '78 firsthand have likely heard family lore about building igloos, getting stranded and the uncommon neighborliness that prevailed during that epic snowstorm that hit the region on Feb. 8, 1978. Yes, believe it or not that was nearly 40 years ago. And in honor of that milestone anniversary, the Taunton Daily Gazette is asking readers to share their memories and photographs of Greater Taunton during the storm and in the aftermath to newsroom@tauntongazette.com. We will be publishing many of the photos and memories in print and sharing them online.
