Real Madrid tell Adidas to expect signing of Chelsea star Eden Hazard in the summer

REAL MADRID have reportedly told Adidas to expect the signing of Chelsea forward Eden Hazard at the end of the season.

Real Madrid have told Adidas to expect a move for Chelsea's Eden Hazard

Real Madrid are targeting Chelsea forward Hazard as a replacement for the ageing and waning Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo scored twice as Los Blancos thumped Deportivo La Coruna at the weekend but, with just six La Liga goals all season, he may be on the move at the end of the campaign.

Hazard is known to be a huge admirer of Real and, having rejected the offer of a new Chelsea deal, is eyeing a move abroad at the end of the current campaign.

And Spanish outlet Diario Gol say Real Madrid have told Adidas that Hazard is expected to wear the No10 shirt next season.

The Belgium international has worn the same jersey for Chelsea ever since Juan Mata’s move to Manchester United in January 2014.

And it seems Real want him to take the number should he leave Stamford Bridge.

Diario Gol say the La Liga giants think Luka Modric, the current occupant, is in his last season at the Bernabeu.

So therefore, Hazard should be their new No10 next season.

Negotiations with the Chelsea star are reportedly advanced, despite the Blues being relaxed over talk of a move away.

Meanwhile, Hazard recently hit out at his father for fuelling speculation of a move to Spain.

Real Madrid could lose Luka Modric and Cristiano Ronaldo - but gain Chelsea's Eden Hazard

Thierry Hazard claimed his son had snubbed a new Chelsea deal because of his Madrid dream.

And Hazard was unimpressed.

“My dad says some bad things. I talked with him, no worries. I’m focused on Chelsea,” the 27-year-old said.

“I’ve got two years contract left and I’m happy here, like I said ten times before.

“I want to finish this year and then we’ll see.”
