Susanna Reid embodies Jessica Rabbit in plunging scarlet gown at NTAs 2018

GOOD Morning Britain's Susanna Reid was red carpet ready in crimson.

The early morning presenter is no stranger to looking glamorous, but for tonight's she seriously amped it up.

co-host appeared on this morning's episode wearing the same colour though with much less skin on show.

The 47-year-old proved it was easy to transform the colour for both night and daytime wear.

Sharing a snap from the ITV studios before arriving at the O2, Susanna posed casually in the frock.

The floor-length gown loosely hugged her figure, falling to the ground and concealing her shoes underneath.

While the design of Susanna's dress was simple down below, up top it was reminiscent of a gift.

The neckline plunged low, exposing a hint of the brunette's cleavage, while also wrapping up like a bow.

Susanna wore her long hair in loose curls and complimented the look with minimal makeup and a statement red lip.

The mum-of-three avoided too much jewellery, instead opting for a seriously dazzling diamante clutch bag.

The overall look was reminiscent of classic cartoon character Jessica Rabbit, meaning Susanna was certain to draw attention.

It seems red was the colour of the moment for the showbiz night out, with plenty of other stars opting for the different shades.

Susanna's fellow ITV host Ruth Langsford stepped out in a shoulderless gown, attending without husband Eamonn Holmes due to illness.

EastEnders' star Tilly Keeper opted for a softer shade complete with lace frills and floral patterning.

Emmerdale beauty Eden Taylor-Draper incorporated red into her minidress, alongside black, white and pink.

Meanwhile, her co-stars Laura Norton, Katherine Dow Blyton, Charlotte Bellamy and Sandra Marvin all wore black.
