Brothel raided, nine arrested 
The officers of the Mount Lavinia Division's Crime Prevention Unit raided a brothel house in Katukurunduwatte in Ratmalana last night (Jan. 23).
Nine persons including 8 women were arrested during the raid.
The women aged 25, 24, 41, 32, 39, 38, 21, and 27 years are residents of Monaragala, Marawila, Padukka, Thawalama, Anuradhapura, Dehiwela and Uragasmanhandiya.
The male suspect who was allegedly managing the pleasure house is a resident of Ratmalana.
They will be produced before Mount Lavinia court today.
