Virgin Media offers free upgrades to next-gen V6 box

Virgin Media is now offering all existing Virgin TV customers a free upgrade to its V6 box. The upgrade programme comes as the company installs its millionth V6 box TV customer, 12 months after the next-generation box was launched. 

Virgin is aiming to end 2018 with the majority of its TV customers using the next-generation, 4K-ready V6 box. Customers signing up for a TV and broadband bundle will be able to upgrade their existing set-top box to the V6 at no additional cost with no re-contract requirements. The V6 box is already used by around 1 in 4 Virgin TV customers.
