Bobcats simulate distracted driving

Cambridge High School resource officer Ptl. Ryan Oliver and health instructor Ray Jefferis watch as student Breanna Goonan does her best driving a simulator purchased for the Cambridge Police Department by CHOICES, the local drug abuse awareness coalition. The simulator is used to mimic — in a safe classroom environment — driving while distracted by, among other things, texting. Health students at the school were given the opportunity to use the simulator.
