At Neillsville, the Warriors built a 20-point lead before securing a Cloverbelt Conference East Division win over the Greyhounds.

Neillsville used a balanced offensive attack to earn the win, with Samantha Cappadora’s 13 points leading the team. Bella Opelt provided 11 points while Alli Schoengarth tallied 10 points.

Neillsville picked up its 10th conference win and eighth victory in a row.

Remi Geiger was the lone Loyal player in double figures, scoring 13 points.

At Wausau, the Bluejays cruised past the Lumberjacks in a Wisconsin Valley Conference clash.

Merrill doubled up Wausau East in the first half before coasting to the convincing win.

Patience Pyan led the way for the Bluejays, tallying 12 points, seven rebounds and five steals. Maddix Bonnell totaled 10 points, three assists and three steals while Reese Mrachek and Madisen Weix each added seven points.

At Bonduel, the Falcons dominated the Bears in a Central Wisconsin Conference-East Division matchup.

Amherst led 43-7 at halftime before improving to 8-0 in the conference.

Heather Pearson led the way for Amherst with 18 points. Geena Jensen knocked down four 3-pointers while adding 14 points. Lauren Boelte and Grace Moe each added nine points while Ashley Groshek had eight.

At Auburndale, the hosts controlled the first half before coasting to a nonconference win over the Panthers.

Mackenzie Raab and Hannah Bolder led the way for Auburndale, recording 16 and 15 points, respectively. Raab also recorded 10 steals. Natalie Aue chipped in with 10 points.

Bolder also grabbed a team-leading 10 rebounds while Marissa Ponshock pulled down nine boards. Auburndale secured its 10th win of the season.

Amanda Piotrowski finished with 20 points to lead Pittsville. Ana Klein added six points.

At Marshfield, a balanced scoring attack helped the Panthers hold off the Tigers in a WVC matchup.

Leah Earnest led SPASH with 17 points while Maggie Negaard added 14 points. Rachel Sullivan tallied 11 points while Madisyn Rogan chipped in 10. Jenna Bohanski finished with seven points.

Sullivan also grabbed seven rebounds while Negaard and Rogan dished out four assists each. SPASH improved to 7-1 in conference play.

Meg Bryan hit five 3-pointers and posted 19 points for Marshfield. Jenna Jakobi led the team with 20 points while Katie Osinski and Maddie Michaelis chipped in nine and eight points, respectively. Corianne Johnson secured 11 rebounds while Bryan had five assists.

At Colby, the Hornets cruised past Greenwood to remain atop the Cloverbelt East.

Colby improved to 11-1 in conference play, one win ahead of second place Neillsville.

Ashley Streveler had four steals, hit five 3-pointers and tallied 23 points to lead the Hornets. Hailey Voelker finished with nine points, three assists and three steals while Hailey Voelker and Alyssa Underwood had nine and eight points, respectively.

Kelly Nielsen posted 22 points for Greenwood. Brooke Hinker added eight points.

At Iola, the Chargers rolled past the Thunderbirds in a CWC-East clash.

Abi Fraaza was the lone Wittenberg-Birnamwood player in double figures, posting 14 points. Emma Herb and Emily Norrbom each added eight points while Maddy Pietz and Olivia Curley each had seven.

Fraaza also recorded nine rebounds, two blocks and three steals in the contest. Norrbom pulled down eight boards and dished out four assists while Curley recorded five steals.

Bryanna Kisting totaled 14 points, six rebounds and four steals for Iola-Scandinavia. Kaitlyn Miller and Emilie Briquelet had 10 and six rebounds, respectively.

At Port Edwards, Kaitlyn Lyp topped the 1,000-point plateau in the Blackhawks CWC-South win over the Wildcats.

Lyp finished the night with a game-high 20 points and also hit three 3-pointers. She now sits at 1,001 points for her high school career.

Jade Martin, Abbie Hutkowski and Brynna Hawk all scored eight points for Port Edwards. Hutkowski grabbed a team-high eight rebounds while Martin led the team with six assists.

At Kronenwetter, the Wildcats outscored the Wolves by 15 in the second half to pull away and claim the CWC-North battle.

Kari Kreklau tallied 20 points, eight rebounds and six steals to lead Northland Lutheran. Mikayla Obsuszt recorded 15 points and six rebounds while Clarissa Edelburg and Taylor Schiferl contributed eight and seven points, respectively. Maya Price grabbed six rebounds.

Cassidy Maroszek scored 19 points for Wisconsin Valley Lutheran. Simeon Schult totaled 12 points and 10 rebounds.

At Wausau, the Evergreens doubled up Mosinee while battling at the Wausau Curling Club.

Nicole Montag (skip), Allie Cotton (3rd), Anna Peloquin (2nd), Geena Zamzow (lead) and Kate Coenen (lead) formed the winning D.C. Everest team.

Mosinee’s quartet included Kaylee Olund (skip), Maci Barabas (3rd), Hannah Theiss (2nd) and McKenna Olund (lead).

BLACK RIVER FALLS CO-OP 3, WISCONSIN VALLEY 1

At Wisconsin Rapids, the Black River Falls co-op, which includes Neillsville, scored the first three goals of the contest to take down Wisconsin Valley Union.

Baileigh Johnson, who attends Neillsville, netted a pair of goals in the second period and assisted on Black River Falls’ first goal in the first period. Ellie Steinhoff netted the first period goal while goalie Josie Mathison made 39 saves.

Zoe Derks scored a power play goal in the third period for Wisconsin Valley, which lost for just the second time this season. Goalie Pistol Cowden stopped 20 shots.
