
Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Tiger Zinda Hai continued to hold well at the box office. Despite entering in its fifth week, the espionage thriller has managed to stiff competition to new releases at the ticket window. The film raked in Rs 60 lakhs yesterday and currently stands with the grand total of Rs 334.88 crore. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the collection of this blockbuster movie on his Twitter account, “#TigerZindaHai [Week 5] Fri 79 lakhs, Sat 1.20 cr, Sun 1.84 cr, Mon 70 lakhs, Tue 60 lakhs. Total: ₹ 334.88 cr. India biz. BLOCKBUSTER.”

The film has already crossed the Rs 550 crore mark at the global box office and currently holds the seventh position after Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, Dangal, PK, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Sultan and Dhoom 3 in the list of top worldwide grossers of all time. Talking about the film’s success, Katrina said, “Tiger Zinda Hai has given all of us so many amazing memories to cherish. From it being Salman‘s biggest hit, Ali’s biggest film, to it also becoming my highest ever grosser – we are extremely happy as a team that the film has done so well.” She further added, “The entire team had pushed themselves to make a quality film that entertains audiences and gives them a product that they have never seen before. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film also stars Angad Bedi, Girish Karnad, Paresh Rawal, Kumud Mishra and Sajjad Delafrooz in pivotal roles. The film is a sequel to 2012’s blockbuster, Ek Tha Tiger which was helmed by Kabir Khan. The film has already beaten Bajrangi Bhaijaan’s lifetime business (Rs 320.34 crore) at the domestic market to become Salman Khan’s highest grosser of all time.
