Dembele on the move
09.30: Brendan Rodgers admits he will need to delve back into the transfer market for another striker if Moussa Dembele leaves.
Dembele was an unused substitute for the second game in a row as Leigh Griffiths came off the bench to be the match-winner after Scott Sinclair penalty had cancelled out Conor Sammon’s opener from the spot.
Rodgers claimed Dembele has been unsettled by the constant speculation over his future and if the Frenchman does depart this month, a replacement will be a priority.
Rodgers said: “If Moussa goes we need to bring in another one. Simple. Players need competition and we need to be competitive.”
Man Utd shortlist
09.05: Manchester United are eyeing three more signings after the sensational capture of Alexis Sanchez.
The Chile ace finally completed his move to Old Trafford yesterday with Henrikh Mkhitaryan going the other way.
Manchester United were after a winger, forward and a marquee signing, but the Independent say Sanchez ticks all three boxes meaning they will now focus on midfield.
It is claimed they are now looking at deals for three players with Fred from Shakhtar Donetsk the top target along with Julian Weigl and Valencia youngster Carlos Soler.
United have been linked with moves for Antoine Griezmann, Gareth Bale, Christian Pulisic and Paulo Dybala but Sanchez's arrival has put them on the back burner for now.

Arsenal deal stalling
08.45: Arsenal are refusing to budge in their approach for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and the move is now in serious doubt, according to Sky Sports journalist Guillem Balague.
According to Balague, the two clubs are tied in a dead-lock over €10m (£8.7m).
And unless Arsene Wenger’s side increase their bid it is unlikely a deal will be struck - but there is still plenty of time left in the window for that to happen.
“It seems like the differences between Aubameyang and Arsenal are very, very big,” Balague said in a video posted on Youtube.
“Things don’t seem to be moving on right now so no final decision has been made on either part.
“They are miles away and it seems like unless Arsenal put on the table more money, and I’ve heard it is around €10m difference, then things may not happen."
Chelsea blow
08.30: Chelsea have suffered a set-back in their pursuit of Roma striker Edin Dzeko, according to reports.
Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has explained that the deal, which was rumoured to be close to completion, is now hinging on one condition.
And that appears to be the amount of bonuses which Chelsea will have to pay Roma throughout Dzeko’s time at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea are hoping to do a £52m double deal which includes Roma team-mate Emerson Palmieri.
