A DRIVER was rescued from his van after it got stuck in flood water.
Fire crews from Ripon, Richmond and Boroughbridge were called to the incident on Boroughbridge Road, Bishop Monkton, at around 6am this morning.
Water began to enter the vehicle and was filling the foot well.

Firefighters pushed the van out of the water allowing the driver to exit safely.
