Market Now: SBI, Infosys among most active stocks in terms of value

NEW DELHI: Shares of Bharti Airtel (Rs 354.34 crore), United Spirits (Rs 257.60 crore), State Bank of India (Rs 250.19 crore) and Infosys (Rs 245.13 crore) were among the most active stocks in terms of value on NSE in morning trade on Wednesday.
Shares of HDFC (Rs 218.74 crore), Indiabulls Housing Finance (Rs 216.68 crore), Maruti Suzuki (Rs 214.11 crore), Piramal Enterprises (Rs 152.20 crore), Reliance Industries (Rs 138.81 crore), GAIL (Rs 131.33 crore), HCL Technologies (Rs 127.99 crore) and Tata Consultancy Services (Rs 119.78 crore) were also among the most active stocks in terms of value on NSE.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 13 points down at 11,071, while the BSE Sensex was 13 points down at 36,127 around 09:45 pm (IST).

In the Nifty index, GAIL (India), Tata Consultancy Services, Housing Development Finance Corporation, HCL Technologies and Dr. Reddy's Laboratories were among the top gainers.
Bharti Airtel, Hindalco Industries, ICICI Bank, Tata Motors, Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone and Reliance Industries were among the top losers.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty50 index, 18 were trading in the green, while 32 were in the red.
