KEWANEE -- Eva Ruth Busboom ( lovingly referred to as Aunt Susie by family) 70, of Kewanee, died  at 2:25 pm on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Unity Point Health Methodist, Peoria.
Eva was born January 20, 1948 in Kewanee, the daughter of Gerad and Ruth (Statz) Busboom.
Surviving is  a brother, John (Nadine) Busboom, Buda; nephew, Michael (Amy) Busboom; four great nieces, Breanne and Rayanne Busboom, Catie and Sara Griffin, all of Kewanee. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Eva graduated from Kewanee High School. She was a lifelong farmer. Eva was a member of the Farm Bureau and First United Methodist Church, Kewanee.
She loved her four legged children, Doorbell the dog and Siama the cat. Eva enjoyed the outdoors and reading. She loved spending time with her family and especially enjoyed attending her great niece’s sporting events.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, January 26, 2018 at Schueneman-Tumbleson Funeral Home. Reverend Paul Copeland will officiate. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm till time of service on Friday. Burial will be at Hopeland Cemetery, Buda. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church or the Kewanee Humane Society.
