Motherwell mock Man Utd and Sanchez with funny signing video… and United reply! #Pete6
MOTHERWELL have mocked Manchester United’s signing video of Alexis Sanchez with a funny effort of their own to announce Peter Hartley’s permanent contract.
Manchester United announced the signing of Alexis Sanchez on Monday.
They posted a video on Twitter of the Chilean playing a piano before donning an ‘Alexis 7’ shirt and walking out onto the Old Trafford pitch.
United love a hashtag when launching new transfer campaigns and they went with #Alexis7 yesterday.
And Motherwell have brilliantly produced their own video to announce Hartley’s deal.
In the video, Hartley is seen playing a miniature keyboard, before pulling on his ‘Pete 6’ shirt and walking out in the lashing rain at Fir Park.

Accompanying the video, the club wrote: “Ladies and gentlemen, please take your seats. Introducing #Pete6... #SIWY #MFC
“Are we doing this right, @ManUtd?”
United replied with a GIF of Sanchez winking at the camera.
Hartley, 29, joined Motherwell from Blackpool at the start of the season, initially on loan.
The defender has played 17 games for Motherwell this season, scoring three goals.
